In this introductory workshop, participants will learn the basics of consent. After reviewing definitions, participants will have the opportunity to discuss what consent sounds like and looks like in practice with interactive activities and scenario-based learning.
Sexual Violence and the Media, 90 Min
We learn about sexual violence through the media we consume. This workshop takes a deep dive into the messages sent by television, movies, music and news media about sexual violence. Participants will learn critical media analysis skills that they can apply to their own media consumption.
Ethical Journalism: Preventing Harm to Survivors of Sexual Violence, 90 Min
Journalists know better than most that words matter. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn about ways to report on sexual violence in ways that empower survivors of sexual violence and disrupt common myths.
Building a Consent Culture: Bar & Restaurant Industry, 90 Min
Anyone who has worked in the bar and restaurant industry is familiar with the normalization of sexual violence. In this training, participants will learn to recognize and prevent violence in their workplace.
Bar Bystanders, 90 Min
In this highly interactive workshop, participants will learn and practice strategies to intervene when they see violent or potentially violent situations. This workshop is suitable for those who work in the bar industry, or anyone who frequents bars, pubs or clubs.
Sexual Harassment: Skilled Trades, 90 Min
In this interactive training, participants will learn the difference between sexual harassment and flirting, how to respond to disclosures of sexual violence, and how to nurture a workplace that doesn't tolerate sexual harassment.
Sexual Communication, 3 Hours
This sex education workshop focuses on sexual communication. Over a three-hour period, participants will explore how to express boundaries, communicate desires, and gracefully navigate rejection.
